Pricing

1.) What are the costs of Adaro Direct?

a.) Adaro Direct (the ‘home delivery service’)
Your practice pays Adaro Direct a service fee per delivery. This fee covers the cost of the online management system, ordering, fully branded packaging, storage and shipping. The cost of the lenses and accessories themselves will continue to be invoiced from your supplier as normal under your existing supplier account (contract). The fee for each charging unit (depending on the content of each delivery) is only £3.99 for UK based practices and €4.95 for practices based in Germany, Austria, Netherlands or Belgium. The charge unit table displayed at the bottom provides details of Adaro’s service costs, depending on the combination of products.
b.) Lens Reorder (the ‘patient portal’)
In addition to the service fee a transaction fee applies for usage of the optional services of the Patient Portal (on www.lensreorder.com) and usage of patient direct debit. These costs are charged to your Adaro Direct account balance at the time of the order placement from the patient. The transaction fee is 5% of the collection amount for credit cards, £0.49 for direct debit payments, £1.00 for debit cards for UK based practices and €1.30 for practices based in Germany, Austria, Netherlands or Belgium.

2.) Adaro Direct Delivery Time

We will use standard Second Class Mail for all registered patients’ shipments. The first shipment or any manually triggered orders will arrive between 5 – 7 days after a patient’s order details are entered into Adaro Direct. Subsequent deliveries (i.e. scheduled orders) will arrive about one week before the date actually required by the specified wear schedule, i.e. when the patient actually needs replacement lenses.

3.) Adaro Direct Account Management

In order to create a transparent and logical arrangement of your cash flows, Adaro Direct provides two separate accounts:
1.) The Adaro ‘account balance’, which can be accessed in the main menu bar on the left, displays any top up payment less all service fees due for every order triggered.

2.) As a supplementary option, we collect your patients’ payments through the Patient Portal on www.lensreorder.com. These revenues are captured on your personal ‘collection balance’ which can be accessed in the ‘practice details’ section. Please note, the amount of each patient’s payment has to be determined by yourself on www.adarodirect.com (section ‘patients’ -> ‘patient portal settings’). You can also include any other expenses in this amount, such as professional services, if you so wish. The collection balance will be transferred to your bank account on a monthly basis. Please be aware that the minimum transfer from your collection balance to your bank account is £100.00 and any transfers requested below this will incur a 5% administration fee.

4.) Adaro Direct Payment Options

Adaro Direct is a pre-pay model, similar to a Pay & Go mobile phone. You can top up automatically, so that each time your account balance is low, it is automatically recharged with an amount of your choice. Depending on your individual preference, you can select an amount between £50 and £500.

Alternatively, you also have the option of making manual payments. However, you have to ensure that your balance does cover the service fees when placing an order. This also applies for orders triggered through the patient portal. Your Adaro Direct balance can be looked up at any time through accessing your personal account.

Moreover, your security is always protected; if the automatic top up option is selected, we merely store the last four digits of your card on our secured systems. We register your card with the bank on setup and use this reference for all future transactions. Adaro accepts most credit and debit cards, including Visa and MasterCard. Alternatively, we are happy to set up a direct debit for you, a convenient and secure payment option which we also provide for your customers to use on the patient portal.

5.) Invoicing

Every time you make a top up payment, regardless of the payment method, a confirmation invoice for your records can be accessed in the section 'practice details' by clicking on ‘payment history’. In addition, your account balance is displayed on every screen, with previous payments being accessible in the section ‘payment history’.

6.) Charge Units

The following combinations count as one delivery. Generally speaking, Adaro based its service fee calculation on a 3-month supply rota.
